Certain human characteristics, like beauty or intelligence, can't be measured numerically, but you can still evaluate them, based on a few principles. You just need to measure a series of facial features on a photo, after which the software displays a score and lets you know how many people have scored higher or lower. Although the results are not entirely accurate and they should not be taken too seriously, you can still use this application to post your results on a dating site or if you wish to know why certain celebrities are considered beautiful.

You can install Face Beauty Rank, in a few moments, on Windows 2000 or any later edition. The application asks for roughly 10 MB of free disk space and at least 32 MB of RAM, which should not be too much, even for older machines. The installation procedure is fast and simple, but the wizard will recommend installing other utilities, so you should be careful what options you select.

The user interface is clean and simple. You can load a picture, zoom in and out or activate guide lines, using a series of options, located on a toolbar. For accurate results, the loaded photos have to meet certain requirements. If you want to make sure your pictures are adequate, a photo import wizard will help you review them.

Once you load a photo, you have to make a number of measurements. A tool pane can be displayed and docked, on the left side of the interface. It displays all the necessary measurements and you just need to select them, one by one. When your measurements are complete, you just need to hit a button, on the program's toolbar and the results will be displayed right away, on your default web browser. Besides the general score, the results include a graph, a pie chart and other statistics. Furthermore, you can retrieve a series of HTML codes, if you wish to post your results on a web page.
